After earning his MBA from UCLA, Seth Blattman came home to Arizona to help out the family business, a natural-wood furniture shop that was hit hard by the Great Recession. Taking on a leadership role, he made the hard decisions required to rebuild the business until it was stronger than before. An Arizona State University alum with a B.A. in Political Science, Seth wants to represent Mesa in the House so he can help Democrats turn around Arizona’s chronically underfunded education system and healthcare safety net. “I’m running … because my 3-year-old nephew deserves all the same educational opportunities I had,” he says. “Because my neighbors deserve to feel safe in their community.
